No loyalty to customers

On the 23rd March 2020 I called VW finance to settle my account. I spent my morning being transferred to the main switch board and ended it with a "sorry I cannot help you with your letter, please confirm your email address so I can email it at a later stage". So I did, they were able to confirm how much I needed to pay during that time and I kept asking if they were sure that I only needed to pay R7 136.45 and all the consultants that day all confirmed that is the case. On the 24th March I had to go through the same process one more time as I followed up on my settlement letter and yet again all the consultants confirmed this was the case. I made an immediate payment and I called again and I was told I should email my proof of payment to *** which I did and the auto reply said someone will respond in 3 business days. This morning on the 31st March I get an email saying my account is outstanding with a balance of R917.05. I ask them to clarify no one can clarify and no one can account as to how this came about eventually a reaponse stating that the settlement letter was exclusive of the amount hence they sent me the balance of R7136.45 and I inquired if that is the case why did all the consultants confirmed the amount if there was a balance outstanding. There was no response and after a while an email saying that they cannot help with my account closure as there is still an outstanding balance and furthermore I must follow up with my vehicle name change after the lockdown. Its clear to see that VW financials does not value its clients as they only care about profit margins. If anyone can help it, please do not use this company even if they offer it as they most affordable payment plan option, its not and they are not worth the hustle, they do nothing for the client except debit and there is no leniency at all. Also the anonymous emailing system lets them escape accountability because the least they could do is afford me the courtesy of explaining what happened to my account.
