Lack of response once they have your money - very unprofessional

I made a lump sum payment to fully settle a vehicle loan with VW Financial Services. This was done around the 10th of the month. VW Financial Services had ample time to process the payment and other relevant processes and finally confirmed settlement on the 26th of the month.

On the second day of the following month a VW Financial Services debit order was processed as per usual, despite the loan being settled in full. I did not provide for this debit order, and it resulted in another debit order of mine taking me over my allowed overdraft limit (which hold a number of consequence for myself).

When I raised the matter with VW Financial Services they took a week to respond, despite their automated email which promised feedback within 48 hours. And when they finally did respond after a week, they ask we to prove to them that the debit order was successfull. There was no indication that they even cared or tried to rectify the situation or do any self investigation. There is also no sign that they were concerned at all about the financial predicament that they left me in by processing a no longer authorised debit order on my account. I find this hugely unprofessional.

I find this institution's reaction incredibly arrogant and unprofessional.

This is definitely the last time that I will use VW Financial Services. I do not think that they deserve anyone's business.
