Complaint ***

Reference is made to CRSE4A6B.

You can't respond to my complaint after you have done your investigation because you do not have the factual information. You claim that "We have noted your asset was purchased in November 2023, and your asset-related complaint was only logged in March 2024." Which asset did I buy in November 2023? What was the complaint I logged in March about?

Govender, Braiden Joshua, spare me your bile, please!

*********"Volkswagen has shared you complaint with the dealership and the below feedback was received : “The customer booked his vehicle into our workshop for the noise as stated in his complaint. The technician stripped the dash and found that there are 2 ‘’nuts’’ rolling around making the noise. He was advised that should something warranty related be found that warranty will cover the cost alternatively the cost will be for his account – in this instance warranty will not be paying and our workshop manager will not release his vehicle without him paying for the hours labour owed.” Based on the above feedback, you will need to cover the outstanding balance that was not covered by your warranty, before the vehicle can be released from the dealership."

You call this an investigation? A one-sided investigation?
Did you hear the side of my story?

I took the car to Bidvest McCarthy VW Annlin Wonderboom in mid-September for the same reason. I was advised they would look into it when I bring the vehicle for service, and I didn't think this could lead me to where I am today. The main reason I took it to the sales dealership is that I have inherited this. Otherwise, I would have advised VW Hatfield Pretoria to go ahead and look into the issue when I took it for service and if, indeed, this was my own doing.

Rule number 1 about my cars: I do not eat in my cars. Secondly, I do not eat peanuts. Thirdly, you gonna ignore that the windscreen was replaced; the first thing the technician asked me was if I had replaced the windscreen since I bought the car and the possibility that might have caused what they found in the vehicle. So spare me the **** guys.
