Good day, I would like to formally raise a complaint regarding the service I have received from VW Brits, North West. Your team fetched my vehicle from my home, which I appreciated as it was quick and efficient. However, the experience thereafter has been extremely frustrating. I contacted your office to request updates, as this is my only vehicle, and also enquired about the possibility of a loan car. I received no clear feedback on this. Later, Cynthia contacted me and informed me that the issue was caused by a rat chewing on the pipe. I explained that there were no signs of rats and that I had personally seen where the leak was. I requested photos for clarity. After receiving a video from the technician, it was clearly visible that the pipe was torn/worn, and he confirmed that it was not caused by a rat. He even questioned who had provided that information. After I mentioned Cynthia, I was told the matter would be sorted out. My brother then called to better understand the situation, as he has more technical knowledge. During this call, the manager displayed a very poor attitude and stated that assisting us was “a favour.” This is unacceptable, as customer service is not a favour but a standard expectation. Since then, I have received no proper feedback. This morning, I again had to follow up myself. I spoke to Lucky, who was helpful and said he would call me back, but two hours passed with no response, and I had to follow up yet again. Now, the explanation has changed back to the pipe being chewed by a rat. When I requested to speak to the manager again, I was met with an attitude from the start, no willingness to assist, no clear plan, and poor customer service. I was simply told that if I am unhappy, I can come and fetch my car. Additionally, my vehicle is still under warranty, which makes the handling of this situation even more concerning. This level of service, inconsistent information, and lack of professionalism is extremely disappointing. Kind regards, Zanelle-Anne Joubert

I bought a car in December and realized it had a lot of defects, first week of January i contacted the sales person Dedrick Mokoena that i am not happy with the car and he must arrange to collect it which he did. I then said to me the defects that were on the car are an indication that there was no quality check on the vehicle prior to them selling it to me and as a result i would like to cancel the contract, he delayed the issue with an intention of the 30 days period given until today that he says he is not the one responsible for cancelling the contract but the bank His service is very terrible as even today the car is not yet back with us but they are busy deducting the installments. I do not want that car and as indicated i wanted to cancel the contract but he delayed on purpose. Today i got an email from his boss Christof Seeger who displayed non interest on the issue. I need VW head office to intervene on this issue as a matter of urgency.

Recently, my cousin purchased his very first car, ever, from this dealership, and while the car itself is great, the service we received regarding the spare key was extremely disappointing. The previous owner did not provide the dealership with the spare key at the time of sale, well so we were told by the sales executive. Instead of proactively resolving this, we constantly had to push the dealership to contact the previous owner and secure the key. Even after the key was finally dropped off at the dealership, the same lack of urgency continued — we again had to follow up multiple times just to get it delivered to us. There was no initiative, no timely communication, and no sense that our concerns mattered. The entire process felt frustrating and unprofessional, as though we were being taken for a ride despite being paying customers. I truly hope this feedback helps improve future customer experiences, because buying a car should feel exciting, not stressful
