VW HAS VICTIMISED ME
This is Mzungezwa Mthembu. On 21 November 2019 I bought a car form Barons Pietermaritzburg at 15456 km, two weeks back I collected the from the Dealership. I traveled to work and back home. Yesterday I traveled to Durban for a meeting, on my way back I noticed that the other motorists were hooting pointing underneath my car. I stop and checked and found that the cover fell of on my side and tried to place it back but I could not since the vehicle was too low. I make a plan and managed to drive until I reached Barons VW Pietermaritzburg and explained the staff and management. I was told that I must have hit something and that there is nothing they could do and advised me to buy a new part. I paid and ordered the part since they did not have in stock. Remember this is the new cars and I have stated buying the parts. The manager explained to me that they did 80 point check on the cars before giving it to me and I requested a copy of a report and noticed that the report was signed on 23 September 2019 with 15384 kms. I only bought the cars on 22 November 2019 with 15456 which means that they drove the cars for 108 kms after 80 points check. The aim for this review is to warn customers out there that VW is exploiting the customer telling them that there is nothing there can do. Please be careful don't be their next victim. They are becoming to be more like the Insurance Company that has be recently reported. I am not intending to defame anybody but to warn those who could be their next victims. Thank you
