BARONS VW PIETERMARITZBURG WORST DEALERSHIP EVER!!!!!!

I am totally disgusted and unsatisfied with Barons Vw Pietermaritzburg!!!! When I had bought my brand-new vehicle on the 2018-10-05 I had taken out an extended maintenance and service plan with Avis.

- This was only pursued to me by their salesman Moosa Mahomed advising me that this would be the best option going forward.

- The only documentation I received from the dealership was a copy of the release note that Moosa Mahomed had given me and a Sticker of Avis stating the service period up to 10/2024 or 90000km(whichever came first) that was stuck on my owner's manual.

- The service plan was in intervals of 15000kms and my track record in respect of the three previous annual services were immaculate.

- On Wednesday 2022-08-10 when I had brought my car in for the 60000km service, I was told that I was late in doing so as it was +-500kms over the 1500kms that is allowed over the requisite service kms with Avis.

- This was NEVER disclosed to me either by the salesperson Moosa Mahommed , the manager at that time, the first service advisor Claudia Zuma, my current service advisor Sashika Ganess who I have dealt with on numerous occasions up till recently, or by Avis.

In essence how can this oversight become my problem that is causing Avis to downgrade my extended maintenance plan to a mere service plan?.

This is malpractice and totally unacceptable. I will not be out of pocket in respect of their failure to properly advise me. Absolutely appalled by their lack of customer service and unprofessionalism!!!!
