Service levels

So usually i take my car to Arcadia VW for Service but since i have moved to Centurion, i took car in for service at Autohaus. I was assisted by a lady Jabu who offered premier customer service, and everything was fine. After driving my car in 3 - 4 weeks time the (abs) light came on, i reported the car and have it booked to be checked. I was then told by Adele that the technicians can't find the problem on the car but then the car must stay at the dealer. At this point i didn't get any offer for courtesy car, i had to ask for it and i didn't get. No other alternatives were made for me by Adele, i was left stranded and i had to make my own plans as to how i'll get to my house. The following day i went to the dealer with a tow truck to tow my car out of Autohaus & take it to the dealer (Arcadia) where i bought it. Just the service, you can tell that there won't go the extra mile to assist and taking the car to where you bought it, it somehow feels like the right thing todo... and so i did that.

When i got to Arcadia VW, just when i got the car off the tow truck, a diagnosis was done and within 7minutes it was detected that the front left bearing is the problem. It took the team in Arcadia approx 10minutes to detect a problem that Autohaus couldn't figure out for the whole day. I asked myself if my car was checked in the first place. I had conversations with other customers at Autohaus who are also not happy with the level of service they get, i wish the complains come through but something must be done with the Autohaus dealership. We deserve better treatment and well trained staff. I really don't want to pull the race card, but that's how myself and several other customers felt.

I love my car, i love my VW & i don't want to hate it because of people who don't value US the customers.
