Service complaint

I have a complaint against VW Centurion service center.

This is the third time my vehicle has gone for service at the same establishment and now I am being told to pay over R5000.

They told me that the brakes are finished and are now on steel on steel. I took the VW to VW the moment I heard sounds on the vehicle and they told me they will only accommodate me after a week and informed me to not be worried as they will handle the issue when I bring the vehicle in. now I’m hearing I have to pay.

The worst part is I have been told “YOU SHOULD HAVE KNOWN THAT SOMETHING WAS WRONG”

I am not an expert with vehicles, unless I hear an odd sound or a signal from the vehicle how the hell would I know? I assumed taking the vehicle for service was to insure that I do not have issues such as this. What were they servicing last time if I am having issues with my vehicle before the 45000km mark

This was a brand new vehicle, I even opted for the extended warrantee so that I shouldn’t have issues with my car, but for the second service in a row VW centurion seems to have other ways forward.

I need my car in good condition.
