Complete disgust at the level of service recieved

I write this report in complete disgust at the service levels received from this dealer. After a week after my car 1.4 2014 Golf VII was towed into for repairs, I was only contacted once to give a go ahead to strip the gearbox which will cost me R3250 of which I did. After that I was never contacted to be kept up to date on the work that is being carried out on the car. My husband & I have already contacted the dealer twice already to find out what is the status of the vehicle and was told that they are busy stripping the gearbox,even after expressing that they must keep me posted on the status of the vehicle they have never gotten back to me.I am disgruntled by the kind of service I have received from VW, my car is less than 20 months old and for it to refuse to shift gears is uncanny. Had to travel back to JHB to start work without a car, VW wouldn't even give me a courtesy car whilst trying to figure out what could be wrong with the car. Till this day I don't know what the hell is wrong with my car. Again I will be expected to make means to go and collect the vehicle.I find this kind of service completely unacceptable since I am paying for the vehicle.
