Harassed by a Car Guard

<p>Whilst at VSP lounge on Saturday, the 30th of July, I innocently went out to the parking lot to kiss my boyfriend in a more private area. I suddenly found myself aggressively pulled away from him by a male car guard named Nsimba; the guard almost pulling my top off, hurt me in the process and walked away. We stopped and walked back into the lounge only to be told that we were not allowed back into the club on the grounds that the guard allegedly reported seeing us having *** and not having any clothes on. We were left outside in a dangerous parking lot with drunk drivers and the bouncers refused to let us in. I then tried to calmly reason with the car guard as to why he **** and why we we're not allowed back inside. The car guard was subsequently impermeable to reason and immediately responded that I should "go away or I am going to get beat up". As a woman, being falsely accused of having public ***, being harassed by the car guard and being threatened by the him is devaluing and defaming. I took it upon myself to take immediate action and speak to the manager of the club, Dyllon. The manager was proactive about taking action against the car guard, however I am not sure this man will face serious consequences for his actions and brutality against a woman. The manager then told me that my boyfriend and I are not allowed to make out in the parking lot as it violates regulations. I asked to see written or definitive proof of such regulations and non were provided. I am angered that as a woman, a guard, who is supposed to ensure safety, did more harm than ever, not to mention had caused a tremendous amount of shame. Secondly, I am alarmed that we we're treated as drunk club-goers when they did not even attempt to listen to our side of the story until I had to approach the manager and that a car guard's (who can barely speak English) account of what had happened held more weight than their customers. And lastly, that kissing in a parking lot is punishable when it is my constitutional right as a 22 year old woman to do so.</p>
