Vroom Rentals is a RIP-Off!!!

My experience with Vroom Rentals was the worst ever. They gave me a car without the suitable spare wheel and spanner as a result I had to drive to a place of safety as it was not safe where I was. The car had to go in to be fixed and I had to pay for a damaged rim. While the car was being held I was given curtsey cars which all had mechical and other problems. One of the cars had a battery terminal that was broken and was tied with wire. Eventually I had an accident with one of their cars 2hrs after reporting a mechanical problem to Vroom. When I reported the problem it was before a long weekend, they said I should bring it in after the long weekend because they were about to close. There was still 2hrs left before their closing time but they insisted... Two hrs after that I had an accident with the car after a mechanical malfunction. Vroom has never apologised for any of the bad services I received at their hands. Instead they just canceled the contract. I paid a R15000 deposit hoping to rent-to-buy a car and as it stands I have nothing.

My experience is that Vroom Rentals is a big rip-off! Do yourself a favor and stay far from Vroom Rentals!
