V Rentals take your money and refuse to provide a vehicle, change contract as they deem fit!

I paid my deposit and first month's rental and rented a van from V Rentals. I renewed this contract over 3 consecutive months. During the renewals there was no additional deposit required or new contract to be signed. Last Saturday, a taxi bumped into the rental van at the rear end. I got all my info and reported the matter to SAPS. I contacted V Rentals to advise of the situation. I was advised by V rentals to request the taxi owner to give their info for V Rentals insurance company to lodge a claim. I was required to bring the vehicle in for inspection. I went in today to V Rentals and was told they cannot replace my rental vehicle as it states so in their contract of agreement given to me. However, I demanded to see my contract and it does not state so. They are now asking me for another R13900.00+R7000.00 for a new contract when I still have 18 days remaining on my current contract which is paid for already, in advance. I spoke to claims manager Ubaid who tried to help but could not. I was then advised by another manager Amar who tells me that I need to get the taxi owner to pay the excess myself and get the taxi owner's insurance company to pay for the damages, otherwise use 'an iron fist' to get it. So not only do these people not honor their contract and abide by CPA rules, but they also encourage the use of violence to obtain their money. Amar, the manager, further mentioned that they DO NOT have insurance for their vehicles. Which legitimate company rents out vehicles without insuring them?! I am now left with no vehicle; money owed to me from my deposit and 18 days for a vehicle which I no longer have as they do not wish to provide a substitute. I am a businessman and rented this vehicle for work purposes. They have now caused me a lot of inconvenience due to the fat that they owe me a vehicle for the remainder of my contract but choose not to. Do not use this company!!!
