Wait almost a month for diagnostics appointment

I recently bought a second hand Volvo from a dealer (whom I would rather not mention as this is a fight for another day). We have been struggling to diagnose an intermittent problem on the car and we believe that the vehicle needs a software upgrade. <br> CMH Volvo tells me that I have to wait until the 26th of March for the car to be booked in - that is 23 days from now. And even then it will take them 3 to 4 days to even look at the car. <br> Surely if a person buys a Volvo you expect better service than that?
