Volvo - Very Poor Reliability

See Below Excerpt from email sent to Service Manager at Volvo West Rand.<br> <br> Unfortunately the noise I complained about did not disappear once I bought new tyres and had the alignment done (yesterday). The noise continued and his since gotten worse. Also the gear changes are not uniform, sometimes its really difficult to get in into 3rd gear and 4th gear and other times its difficult to get into 1st. Tonight it was difficult to get into reverse gear, by difficult I mean requiring more than one attempt and indeed more than reasonable force. I am disappointed as I really believed Mark when he said the cause was in all likelihood the bad tyres. It is now apparent that the noise is indeed a mechanical gearbox/clutch related noise. As the car sits in my garage on idle in neutral the noise now suddenly happens in this instance as well and no longer only on acceleration and deceleration, furthermore the noise cuts out as soon as I depress the clutch but again nearly impossible to get into first now and the car therefore for me is not drive-able, clearly whatever is taking place is getting worse.
