Volvo Trade In Offer Based On Lower Range Model

I would assumed (like any other customer) that owning the most expensive Volvo (Volvo XC90 T8 Excellence Polestar ) in 2018 at over double the price of a normal Volvo XC90 T8, I would be benchmarked on the value of the ACTUAL car when it came to selling it back to Volvo and NOT the normal cars in the range. It is very upsetting to my as a owner of not one but three Volvo cars (being a V40 XC60 and XC 90) that people who have a Volvo valued at R**** can get R**** for their car and me, someone who has a car at double that, would get R500k from Tom Champer and not much higher from other Volvo dealers compared to the value of the car? I urge Volvo SA to step in and not only assist but LOOK AFTER premium customers like me to give me a fair value on my car, not a value that is not representative of the actual car to an owner. Alternately, be upfront with clients about their trade in values on SALE OF THE CAR to let us make educated and informed decisions instead of relying purely on trust of a brand and dealer.
