Overheated Volvo

I bought a new Volvo V40 T4 in 2014, the car was serviced by Volvo from predelivery to 100 000 km. At 114 000 km the engine overheated, the car was taken to CMB Volvo in Cape Town and I reported the case to Volvo SA. The engine was removed from the car and strip, since then I received 3 different diagnoses way the engine overheat and Volvo SA informed me that the are not going to pay for the repair of the engine, if I am not satisfied with their decision I can contact the MIOB and report my complain.

The MIOB has got thousands of complaints so the possibility that my complain will be looked at is very slim and it seems to me that the car manufactures knows it and they are playing for time in the hope that I will drop my complaint.

We as the public must stand together and launce a campaign against the treatment we received from car manufacturers.

We all do have facebook friends, can we ask our friends to read the reviews on hellopeter before they decide to buy a Volvo, they surely will be very disappointed in the manner that Volvo treated their customers.
