Good car - Parts damaged or changed with other broken parts at services?

<p>I just had it now...</p> <p>my car was still under motorplan then one of my services at Volvo Bedfordview, they phone me to tell me that my car that is stull under extended motorplan was found to have Monroe shocks fitted (a couple of minutes later hey tell me not to worry about ad forget about the phone call)</p> <p>A couple of months later, with my my S40 T5 then out of warranty, I bought new front disc pads to fit. Remove discs only to find its no longer pads for typical T5 but rather normal S40 pads??????</p> <p>I sent my car to fit cambelt kit. Before the service, I still cleaned teh engine with bonnet hydraulic strut working pefectly. Picked up mmy car from sevice (happy). A couple of month slater I open teh bonnet for the first time and teh bonnet hydralic strut has failed completely, i.e. it does not keep the bonnet open and it comes crashing down like there is no strut at all.</p> <p>How on earth do these things happen?????? </p> <p>A fabulous car but clearly not ideal for African conditions where parts seem to become uselless or get replaced with other parts or just stop working when you let the car out of your sight (and in the care of the service dealers) for a couple of hours.</p> <p> </p> <p>*** FF? </p> <p>I am so sick of this sh@t and I'm sure Forensic Audtiors wil have a field day if they dig into the complaints and Volvol Bedfordview and Auto Baltic Vereeniging as a start</p> <p> </p>
