Disappointing Service at Volvo Fourways
Our experience with Volvo Fourways has been nothing short of frustrating and disappointing. Our car was towed on the 21st of December 2024 due to a jammed steering wheel and was received by Volvo Fourways on 23rd December. Despite the festive season, we were informed that the dealership was fully operational, yet our car has not been worked on to date.
While we understand that there were three public holidays during the Christmas and New Year period, it’s unacceptable that nearly three weeks later, there has been no progress on our vehicle. This delay has been costly for us, and to make matters worse, Volvo Fourways has not offered us a courtesy car or attempted to make alternative arrangements.
For a brand as reputable as Volvo, this level of customer service is shocking. The Volvo warranty service is equally disappointing—our claim is being handled poorly, with no proactive updates from the representative. Instead, we are forced to chase for feedback.
By comparison, Volvo Midrand provided outstanding service before it closed, and it’s disheartening to see such a stark contrast. It’s clear that the operations manager at Volvo Fourways is not managing the team effectively, and this reflects in the lack of accountability and responsiveness from the staff.
Volvo needs to address these service shortcomings urgently. As loyal customers, we expect much better, and this experience has made us question the brand’s commitment to its customers.
