Poor Services by Voltano
I have a very bad experience with Voltano Metering. I moved into my newly built house in July 2021. Voltano charged me R1100 for electricity. In August they charged me R1780. In September they charged me R2580. In October they charged me R3100. In November they Charged me R5000. In October we experienced a lot of loadshedding and was wondering why would they charge me that and they were so arrogant. I am using electricity for heating water, ironing and refrigeration. I don't have electrical stove and swimming pool why would I pay such exorbitant amounts. Also bear in mind that I have been having challenges of electrical outages from November 2021. They claimed to have been the breaker, the breaker was allegedly fixed. They then claimed it was cable fault which they have allegedly fixed but the problems is persistent and even worse as I am writing this message under a cellphone touch light.
The Energy regulator must really investigate this company as I believe their aim and objective is to milk people dry. I have seen most of the submissions from other people regarding the same company and it can't be business as usual while people are having a Christmas at the expense of unsuspecting citizens.
I am based in Potchefstroom. Waterberry Estate.

I have spoken to Mr Morne Bester whom I have explained my problem to and was admitting that they have faulted me. He indicated that this morning at 9h30 the technicians will be here.
It is 30 minutes later and there is no one. I had to ask for time off from work. I called Mr Bester who told me that the Chief Technician is in a meeting he will call me in half an hour's time. Bear in mind I haven't had electricity from yesterday at 9h00. My groceries in the fridge are already having a bad smell meaning I must throw it away. My kids lunch box for the month has gone to waste.
The meat that was going to keep us for another months is also spoiled. I have shown their technician Anthon what is happening to all my food. Who is going to reimburse me?
