Unhappiness with VW Technical

I bought VW Tiguan second had in May 2019 with original motor plan and warrantee still valid. On 27 June, the clutch failed while driving on a national road. The complete clutch kit needed to be replaced. VW refused to investigate the failure and refused to take responsibility for the failure of the approved parts within the warranted. The blamed the failure on some external force (whatever that means!). The damaged kit was handed over to me because the dealership felt the parts were safer with me since VW had not sent anyone to inspect the parts. R35 000 later, in the third week of July 2019 I reclaimed my car from Lenasia. I later received a formal letter from VW that there was no substandard quality with their parts. Then on 19 October 2019, en route from Mahikeng to Johannesburg, the brand new clutch failed 25km outside Mahikeng. The full clutch kit needed to replaced yet again - two months later. The vehicle ended up in Mahikeng where the gearbox was opened to investigate the cause of failure. Again, VW have written me a letter that exonerate quality of their parts or their workmanship. Next week on 19 December 2019, it will two without the car I pay installments and insurance for. I am so sick of hiring cars that I bought another small car while I fight with VW. My request was simple from the outset, was is the cause of failure since I have never had a clutch problem with any of my cars over the past 25 years. How can a full clutch kit last two months; how is possible for me to drive with my foot on the clutch on freeways - 90% of the time? Are VW clutch kits made from chicken egg shells and thus fragile? Now I am in a quandary, what is the quarantine that the clutch will not fail again after repairs? How do I trust VW when they misrepresent the truth in their official communication with me - on company letter heads ”nogal”! I have now been threatened with storage fees amounting to R500 a day! My next option is the ombudsman and litigation. in the meantime, the struggle continues! Elias
