Unsatisfactory service
My 2020 V6 VW Amarok went for its 75000 km service on 15 March 2024.I requested them to check a HUM sound ,I even mentioned to them when I was a youngster we were referring to it as a "hum in the diff".they said they found nothing.
On 8 May 2024 I took the Amarok in again for breaks and requested them to check again for the HUM, they said everything is fine.
Round about 4 June 2024 I took it again and a mechanic rode with me .I collected the Amarok at 4 0 clock and they said there's nothing wrong.
I took it in again on 26 July 2024 and the service manager rode with me where upon he noticed the HUM .The bakkie went in on 1 August 2024 and they inspected the diff and came to the conclusion the bearings in the diff needs to be replaced.
Today is the 8 August 2024 and I phoned everyday for news where I am told they are waiting to " find out who is going to food the bill or something like that".,as the bakkie is still new with only 82000 km.
On 11 July 2024 I have send the third feed back report to Volkswagen and up to this day I had no reply. I serviced all my VW vechiles with NTT Worcester since about 2010 and am surprised with the unsatisfactory service. This might just be my last VW.
