VW Claremont lack of communication

I had my car towed to VW Claremont and I did not have a booking. The customer service in person was amazing, they were so quick to help and everything was done really quickly. More than 24 hours later, they had not communicated what was going on, whether they had looked at my car or when it was scheduled for. I phoned numerous times to be constantly told " we will call you back shortly" with no callbacks happening. After getting someone else to call, it was communicated that the car was ready. In future, it would be great to have communication, not necessarily speed of getting it done, just knowing that it will get done is good enough.
