Scirocco Tappet noise unresolved Claremont Volkswagen

Good day, On the 9th of August 2019 I took my VW Scirocco to Claremont Volkswagen for a service at a cost of R 2100.00 including a charge for changing a number plate bulb. The only reason I took the vehicle to Claremont Volkswagen because it reached the mileage that indicated it needed a service. At that time of taking the vehicle for a service it was in a sound condition. However, after I received the vehicle I became aware of a sound what appeared to be tappets from the motor. I informed the consultant about the unusual noise and after their inspection they informed me that they could not detect anything wrong. The noise emanating from the motor (tappet like noise when idling) then became noisier. During this time the yellow engine lit up on my dashboard and immediately made an appointment to have it remedied once again at Claremont Volkswagen. I was then contacted informing me that the purge valve needed to be renewed at a cost of R 3751, 77. My initial complaint about the tappet sound noise required the cylinder head to be stripped at a cost of another few thousands of Rands in order to determine the reason for the noise. I am disappointed about the nonchalant, not my problem, wasn’t us response when dealing with my enquiry. Also, we as customers put our trust in the agencies when they report back to us about the type of faults impacting the vehicle`s performance. In addition, we trust that the fault identified is correct and accordingly repaired for a quoted amount. We, trust and pay as we require the mode of transport and in return our requirements are just a simple excellent service delivery. In conclusion, I will seek alternative advice regarding the existing tappet (after the Claremont Volkswagen service) sound issue and of course will think twice of taking my and/or kids vehicle to Claremont Volkswagen.
