I highly recommend not using Barons Claremont. A vastly superior alternative is "They Agent's Garage" in Ottery. They are experienced Volkswagen mechanics with all of the necesary diagnostic equipment and excellent customer service.

Dealing with this branch has been an exceptionally frustrating experience. I have now been waiting six weeks for repairs to my car to start due to the apparent necessity of ordering a part from Germany. No one knows when the part will arrive - could be tomorrow, could be six months time. Despite relying on a German factory for standard parts, there is apparently no line of communication between the workshop and the manufacturer at all. It seems that the standard operating procedure if an order is not filled is to just carry on waiting and hope for the best. The only person who has shown any initiative or interest in solving the problem has been Chester Qalazive (albeit unsuccessfully). Management is otherwise completely disinterested.
