Redemption of Gift Voucher past expiry date

A gift voucher from Vogue Fox was purchased in January 2014, which had a 6 month expiry. For various reasons it wasn't redeemed. Now, more than a year later I wanted to redeem it, and on being told that the Consumer Protection Act allows for 3 years expiry, Karen immediately offered an extension, with no quibbles, and even apologised for not being aware. A great attitude that so many more companies should learn from!
