False Advertising

I visited the Momentum World of Golf on Saturday 6 February. I was approached by a sales lady (didn't get her name) who proceeded to tell me about the practice membership fees of R479 per month. I told the lady that I would have a look around and if interested, that Id get back to her. On Tuesday 9 February I went back to sign-up for membership. The lady I spoke to previously was not in so I spoke with another gentleman (didn't get his name either) who gave me a completely different story. He told me that there was no such thing as a straight practice membership and that I had to pay a fee of approximately R1600 (once off) which included 10 lessons plus the membership fee of R479 which would then continue on a monthly basis. I told the man that I was not interested in lessons, I just wanted to come and practice on my own. He said he is very sorry but I had to pay the R1600 or I wouldn't get membership.<br> <br> The W.O.G website is clear that they offer both practice memberships and packages with lessons. I will be taking this up with the Advertising Standards Authority. I left messages at the front desk and on the cell phone of Mr Daniel Egdes, but have not had the courtesy of a reply<br>
