VN PLUMBING

On the 26th November 2020 we had an on site meeting with Kyle Naidoo from VN Plumbing to undertake work at our property. He sent us a quote on 30th November 2020 which we accepted. He requested a deposit of R8675,00 which I paid on the 1st December 2020 and he was due to start work on Monday the 7th December 2020. After many phone calls he finally responded saying his phone was broken and he did not have our number and would start work on Tuesday 8th December 2020. He sent a message at 7,46 am on the 8th saying he was running late as he had a puncture. After many phone calls to him during the morning he finally responded at 13,29 saying he had to put his car on a tow truck and apologized. We became suspicious and phoned my bank who contacted his bank and they froze his account. After numerous empty promises he sent us an affidavit on the 14th December 2020 stating he would complete the work by the end of January 2021. He then sent a message saying he would refund the balance of the money as the bank had already refunded R4000,00 to me which was untrue. We have since had no contact from him. The banks have instructed me to open a case of ***** which has been done.
