Paid R6,000 – No Service, No Response, No Refund

I entrusted Mr Vuyo Manisi (VMI Attorneys) with a straightforward estate matter and paid R6,000 in good faith over 7 months ago. Since then, very little to no progress has been made, and for the past three weeks, Mr Manisi has completely ignored multiple emails and formal requests.

At this point, I have no other option but to warn others:

- The service was not delivered as agreed. - All communication has been ignored. - I have suffered real consequences due to this delay. - A refund has been requested twice, with no reply. - Not even a basic confirmation letter was ever provided in the interim.

I will be escalating this to the Legal Practice Council and pursuing further action if necessary. This review is to help others avoid a similar experience and to urge Mr Manisi to respond responsibly before the matter becomes formal.

It is regrettable that I’ve had to go this route, but silence and inaction leave me with no other choice.
