Vlaming was awarded a maintenance contract by Renprop, and what a complete disaster it turned out to be. Their workmanship was poor, their defects list was laughably unprofessional, and the entire experience raised serious concerns about their integrity. To make matters worse, they sent an employee, And**s, to attend our exit inspection. During that visit, several of our belongings disappeared, including the landlord’s patio set. I immediately contacted Tony, the owner of the company, expecting professionalism and accountability. Instead, I was met with nothing but rudeness and disrespect. The employee they deployed appeared to be intoxicated, and his conduct was completely unacceptable. Watching someone help themselves to property—down to small household items—was shocking. The patio set was eventually returned, but not a single apology was offered. Not from the employee. Not from Tony. No accountability whatsoever. The bigger question is: how did Renprop vet a contractor like this before trusting them with clients’ homes? If this is the standard of contractors they appoint, it reflects very poorly on Renprop as well.
