VKD GATES AND FENCING

Kurt/Kart Pieterse - Kurt/Kart Duchesne poses as an installer of gates and fencing under different guises as VKD gates and fencing, KD gates, Kaydee gates and automation, Budget Gates. There is even a bogus website. He was asked to install two safety gates for me in April 2011. He took measurements several times, quoted and asked for a deposit. He promised to install the gates in two weeks. Several phone calls later, he said he needed more money for galvanizing. He had multiple excuses as to why the gates were not installed. Eventually I laid a charge against him in the Small Claims Court where he promised to repay the money but never did. Charges have since been laid against him by 8 people who he has conned in a similar way. The time line for offences are 2009 to 2012. He has finally - in 2015 - been convicted. I urge others come forward and lay a charge against him to avoid others having to have the ordeal of court appearances, time off from work. The financial and emotional toll has been huge and no amount of money can smooth over the disgust one feels for people who have no conscience and who take others for a ride thinking they can get away with it. Please people beware.
