VIVO phone drawbacks

Please Be careful when buying a Vivo Phone. They do not use the Full Android Platform. I recently bought the Y01 model. - Whilst the phone is stunning in design and look the main problem is that it uses Android Go- and NOT Android. like a cheaper version to cut manufacturing costs. This does not work with some Apps like Garmin - so if you need to pair your Smartphone with a Fitness device - it will not work. I contacted Garmin in USA and they confirmed that their product does not work with a phone that is uses Android Go. My complaint is that NOWHERE on the package or even when you look at the software inside the phone does it say Android Go. This model says Android Version 11 - and I therefore thought it would work with Garmin. Once I took it home and tried to download Garmin Connect from Playstore - did I realise I had a problem, Then it's too late. The Store will not take back Mobile phones.
