Rice particles in Vital Crisp Chips pack

<p>On the 9th of June 2017, I bought a packet of Vital Crisps 20g at Spar Queensmead Durban. I opened the packet of crisps as I was driving, everytime I was chewing on these chips I could feel some hard particles grinding against my teeth. I continued eating this packet and I spat whatever hard substances I came across. I decided to look into the packet when I stopped my car, there were raw rice particles at the bottow of the packet, I took the packet and disposed of it. When I got to the office, I decided I was not going to let this go, as I am a fitness fundi and always buy Vital Health Foods, I decided to send them an email and let them know about my experience. I got a response from a lady by the name of Michelle Jooste, who appologised for the issue and she asked me to give them the remaining stuff in the packet. I told her I have disposed of the packet and had a till slip to prove the purchase, which I emailed to her. That was two weeks ago and has not responded to me. I even told her on the email that its not about me getting my refund, but its for them to do the just thing as they may be many other defective packets of Vital Crisps out there in the shop. I felt insulted by Vital Health Foods not responding, as if I wanted a freebie, on my till slip they saw that I had purchased other expensive food item, why would I only choose a cheap R7 product to be compensated for if it did not have an issue. I want Vital Health Foods to own up to their mistake, as I buy lots of their products, and for them ignoring a customer care issue like this proves that they dont care about their customers.</p>
