Disappointing experience at Viswijf

After reading the feedback online, we decided to give Viswijf a try. Unfortunately, our experience was far from satisfactory. We waited the entire morning for an appointment due to the restaurant being fully booked. Upon arrival, we had to wait over 30 minutes without any waiter attending to us to take food order.

When our food finally arrived, the fish was full of bones, dry, and lacked any tartare sauce. There wasn't even a fish knife provided. The chicken in another order was overcooked and under cooked and the portions were inconsistent. This was not a good first impression at all, especially given the high ratings. It seems that only large tables receive regular service to keep those customers happy. We expected much more from this restaurant.
