Vision Works - Atrium - Terrible Service

Before going in to get the eye test we had clearly asked the receptionist what it would cost to get an eye test done and to receive contact lenses. The lady had told us it would be R600 or alternatively if we take a frame the consult would be free. We had agreed that we will do the consult, pay, get the trial lenses and return to get our frames. However, immediately after the consult, when we got to the counter to pay. We were given an amount of R2980 of which 50% needed to be paid before leaving the store. We then asked the lady what is the amount for as we had not picked any frames yet. She kept insisting that the amount needed to be paid as we needed to get a frame and lenses when we had explicitly told her we would be returning for the frames. They then proceeded to be condescending on the subject. We agreed to pay for the consult which was R600 and we left. We will most definitely not be returning to this branch nor will we purchase any frames from them due to their attitude and inability to properly communicate.
