Pathetic Service / Poor Quality of Goods

<p>For over 2 months of battling with Vision Works Mall of Africa, I still have not had any joy in getting my issues sorted out.</p> <p>To start with, after both my wife and I had our eye-tests completed and selected frames for glasses and sunglasses, we waited weeks with no feedback from the store on when the 4 sets of glasses would be ready. When we went into the store to pick up the glasses it turned out only 2 of the 4 pairs were ready.</p> <p>Upon inspection of the glasses it turned out that both lenses on my wife's pair of glasses was damaged and badly chipped. We got a host of excuses and the store blamed their lab (as they don't fit the lenses in the store themselves). After a few weeks again (with no feedback or call from the store) we went past to check on the availability of my sunglasses and my wife's glasses. I was able to collect my sunglasses but on inspecting my wife's glasses it was discovered that they only replaced the one lens. This time around we were informed that they would order the new lens and replace them in-house. Again we waited for weeks and no call or feedback.</p> <p>During this period, the one lens on my sunglasses popped out one day while I was driving so back to the store again (this was on the 10 Oct 2016). I picked up my wife's glasses (which still had a slight chip on the one lens - the one they replaced in store) and was told it would take a few days to get my sunglasses repaired. Again, no call and feedback from the store. I called them today (27 Oct 2016), only to be told that my sunglasses are still not ready and the store again blamed their lab.</p> <p>I was informed by the store Manager Magda that she would follow-up and call me with a response within 5 - 10 minutes. It has now been hours and still no response.</p> <p>Avoid this store at all costs, they are rude and highly unapologetic about their behaviour and will give you nothing but poor service and leave you disappointed. There are other optometrists within the Mall and surrounding areas. Try those instead.</p> <p>Vision Works Mall of Africa is one of the worst service providers I have ever used and they will not find me going back there once I pick up my sunglasses (if they ever get fixed).</p> <p> </p>
