No Optometrist

I phoned the Vision-Works (Woodmead) on Tuesday 18 June asking whether they do the eye tests one needs when renewing your driver's license. The gentleman who answered indicated yes. I asked to make an appointment for Thursday, 20 June 2019 to have my eyes tested on the way home after work. I was told it was not necessary to make an appointment and that I could just visit the shop, it takes 5 minutes to do the test. Arrives at the shop at 15:30 on Thursday and gets told that the Optometrist is out for an hour to collect her son from school and that I can wait for her. This is a standard arrangement in her diary. I cannot wait, have to pick up my own children from school and I phoned to ask if I could come in for the test and was not told anything about this arrangement up front. If I knew, I would have made other arrangements. Cannot just come again "tomorrow" have other commitments.... Will never use them again and will most definitely not recommend them either.
