Worst administration at an optometrist

<p>What a joke. I sent my sister in to the optometrist because her glasses were damaged and she lost one of her lenses during a smash and grab incident. I explained this to the administrative Clark and begged for an appointment due to the emergency as my sister is semi blind. They told me that they could not help. I do not even believe that they even tried. That is not really the part that has upset me. They promised to provide me with a quote on Monday morning so that the lenses could be ordered as soon as possible so that the time without glasses would be kept to a minimum. Only on Tuesday at 16:00 did we get an answer once we called to find out. All they could do is blame the medical aid. Now this annoys me it is their job to deal with medical aids all the time what makes mine so unique. I then inform them that I will pay cash and they send me a quotation however they can’t even match the number of lenses they are ordering to the number of frames that they are charging me for. Their incompetence knows no bounds. At this stage I am stuck with their incompetence with no one to take ownership and responsibility for their inability to do what can only be a menial task at best.</p>
