Vision Property – Ongoing Negligence, No Communication, and Unresolved Damp Issues
My experience with Vision Property has been nothing short of frustrating and disappointing.
I have been paying a special levy for several months towards repairs that were meant to fix ongoing water leaks and severe damp damage in my unit at Sterling Gate. Despite these payments, the repair work has been poorly executed, incomplete, and has not resolved the underlying issue.
The contractor appointed by Vision Property openly admitted that certain walls were left unrepaired because the cracks were “not visible” — even though those same walls continue to cause recurring damp inside my home. This level of workmanship is unacceptable, and what’s worse, Vision Property has shown no sense of urgency or accountability in addressing it.
I have sent multiple formal emails requesting feedback, timelines, and escalation to senior management, yet have received no response or acknowledgment to date. This silence is not only unprofessional, it reflects a serious failure in their duty of care to property owners.
Homeowners place their trust in managing agents to act with transparency, competence, and integrity. Unfortunately, my experience with Vision Property has been the complete opposite — poor communication, lack of follow-up, and no resolution to a long-standing and costly issue.
I would strongly caution any property owner or body corporate to think twice before entrusting Vision Property with the management of their investment.
We apologise if you feel there has been a lack of communication regarding your maintenance concerns. We refer to your recent telephone conversation with the Portfolio Manager, during which your complaint was discussed.
As advised, the matter was escalated to the trustees for consideration. The contractor was consulted and confirmed that the work was completed in accordance with the contract specifications. Specifically, all identified cracks were sealed using fibre seal, as stipulated. Please note that the scope of work did not include sealing the entire wall with fibre seal.
Following this, the trustees requested that you provide photographs of any damage observed after the completion of the waterproofing project. The photos you submitted were reviewed, and it was noted that they depict water damage that occurred before the recent waterproofing work.
We remain committed to addressing valid concerns and ensuring that all contracted work meets the required standards. Should you have updated photographs or further information regarding post-project damage, please feel free to share them so that the matter can be reassessed.
