Bad workmanship & they take your money and RUN

<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US">We signed a roof repair contract with Frank from Visible Improvements for the amount of R95 000.00 in 2012</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US"> </span></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US">After the first rain storm the roof was leaking again. After numerous attempts via emails and phone calls no one came to assist despite a 10 year guarantee from them due to defective workmanship.</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US"> </span></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US">3 years later we managed to get another employee (Clifford) who was unfami**** with the job to do a quotation on repairing the roof. He advised that the level of the roof was not correct and needs to be repaired. When we told him that it was his company that did the original repairs less than 3 years ago, he agreed to send out his guys to fix the roof as it was still under the 10 year guarantee. This never materialized after he had spoken to Frank and then suddenly changed his story that he never said they will repair the roof and that there was hail damage (which there is not, photos to prove)</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US"> </span></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US">Photos taken of our roof also show other companies signage used to repair the roof. We were also charged for bigger gutters but the outlet hole is smaller than the actual gutter. No proper sealant was used, instead normal silicone was used which has already come off. I paid for 120mm downpipes and gutter and got big downpipes and 70mm holes in the gutters, for the down pipes, this is apparently due to hail we were told. Really??</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US"> </span></p> <p> </p> <p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US">Do not use this company as you will be ********** and have no luck of them repairing their defective and faulty workmanship.</span></p>
