Perform hard enquiry when applying for pre paid account

Please be aware when you join this company even you are not applying for credit and is a pre paid card, they perform an hard enquiry on compuscan and it is never mentioned in Terms and conditions, They state a free credit check that means a soft enquiry but they persue a hard enquiry that is not authorized.
