Thou shall not submit a claim with VMI
What is it with insurance companies and paying claims? It's all good and well when you're submitting debit orders to my account, but when I submit a claim, there's an excuse for each rand I paid in premiums.
I submitted a claim on 22 September, after being involved in an accident that resulted in my car being badly damaged. On 15th October, I was informed that my car was written off. I submitted all the requested documents, photos, police reports, registration documents and settlement quotations from the bank. To date, I've been receiving different stories every time I request an update: >> We're waiting for the documents verification department >>Waiting for the payments department >>Oh, did you notify us that you were crossing the border? >>Please send us another settlement letter, the previous one expired
Why take on the risk of having to part with money if you have no intentions of doing so? I transferred the risk to you in exchange for a premium, which you've collected without hesitation for over a year. Now there's a claim and you're not coming to the table?
