Appalling and unfair treatment from Virgin Money Insurance

My vehicle was involved in accident on 12.05.2018. I was bumped from the rear end. I claimed from my insurance on 14.05.2018, all the details were submitted to my insurance including JMPD report and the details of the other party including her insurance details. On 17.05.2018 my vehicle was taken to Dent-tech in Strydom Park under the pretext that it was taken for assessment. On 24.05.2018 I received an email from the claim examiner notifying me that Dent-Tech has been authorised to fix my vehicle. I objected to that and I informed the claims examiner that I want my car to be fixed by a BMW approved repairer. He told that he was still going to consult with the assessor. A few days there after the claims examiner suggested that alternatively I should BB Cars repairer they are BMW approved and that they do a good job. I firstly looked them on Google and realised that they were Audi approved but not BMW approved. I also phoned them and was told by the lady at BB cars reception that they are not BMW approved. I told Trishen Moodley (claim examiner) that BB cars was not BMW approved. He told me that he would consult again with the assessor. On 30.05.2018 Trishen sent me an email informing that they have decided to authorise Dent- Tech to repair my car and that was final. On enquiring as to why are they so determined on not using a BMW approved repairer I was told that my car was out of warranty. I informed him that my car was still under motor plan and that he can check with BMW SA however he was adamant that the assessor says my car is out of warranty and that is just that. I sent the email back to Trishen requesting him that alternatively they would rather use BB cars. My thought was that at least BB Cars is Audi approved. BB cars only fetched my car from Dent-tech on 08 June 2018 after I had phoned them and Trishen making a follow up on the progress of the repairs. When I asked Trishen as to why it took so long for the car to go to BB cars I was informed that they took long because they were sorting out paperwork. On 15.06.2018 I phoned Trishen that the 30 days for the courtesy car was expiring on 17.06.2018 and that I had to take the car back yet my car is not yet fixed. He informed me that the policy says 30 days and that there is nothing he can do about it otherwise if I decide to keep the car it will be at my own expense. Since 17.06.2018 I have been without an alternative transport but with the hope that my car will be fixed within a short space of time. On checking with BB Cars telephonically on 20.06.2018 I was given the impression that my car will fixed by 22.06.2016. On 22.06.2018 BB Cars forwarded an email was to me which indicating that the parts at the backorder are expected from Germany by end August. What provoked my suspicion is the fact that communication regarding the part/s was only initiated on 20.06.2018. What I do not understand is why they can’t source the part from other dealerships besides BMW Bedford view. I phoned Trishen objecting that what BB Cars is suggesting to me is unacceptable. I cannot wait for an additional 2 months. He promised to investigate and will phone me back. Immediately thereafter I was then phoned by someone who identified himself as Chris -the workshop manager for BB Cars. He told me that the part is still to be manufactured at Germany and will only be received end of August. He told me that because he was told that I do not have transport he will put back the damaged part and I will be given a car back and will come back for the new part after it has been received from Germany. When I asked him to commit that in writing he told me that I must just take his word for it as they do not do things the way I want them to be done I have since written an email to Trishen suggesting he should instruct BB Cars to source the parts concerned from other dealerships within the country and that waiting for my car for another 2months is unacceptable. I reminded him that had he used the BMW approved repairer none of this would be happening. Currently I have been without a car for 6 weeks already. He has not responded nor acknowledged my email. I tried to phone Virginmoney Insurance ( ********** 070) 3 times on Friday 22.06.2018 it just rings without getting any reply. I was hoping I would manage to get someone who will put me through to the senior manager where I could escalate my case. Today (25.06.2018) around 11h06 I received a call from BB Cars that they were still waiting for the part to fix my car, I asked the lady on the phone if she was expecting me to wait for an additional 2months for those part and she said yes. After the call from BB Cars I tried again without any success to escalate my problem to the Virgin Money Insurance Senior Management but a person who took my call when I phoned by the name of Xolani Allan Ndlovu refused to put me through insisting that I needed to go through the consultants. I told him that I had already done that; I sent an email through on Sunday morning (24.06.2018) I got a response that a consultant would phone me but no one has phoned me yet. He promised me that he will ensure that someone phones but it is now the end of the day and no one has phoned me.
