Worst gym experience ever!!

<p>I joined virgin active at century city last year July and was promised the world but little did I know it would be a nightmare... When i joined i was told by the consultant that the 1year contract at century city will be R529 per month which would go off from the first of August which i asked and confirmed numerous times. I was suppose to receive a free month subscription which I didn't receive. The consultant went through everything so quickly and made me sign. When I asked him what was in this contract that im signing he said everything that he already explained. But everything he told me was incorrect and just for me to sign up not worrying what happens afterwards.Paidment went off the first of august which was R645. I left it as I thought it was including a service fee or card fee or something but i have been paying R645 ever since. When I was applying I asked the consultant if there is no shorter contract than a year as I will be a student this year and can not afford to pay so much money. He told me that I can just call in and cancel at anytime with no charge. Now that I am a student and need to cancel this year i still need to pay half of my premium of the remaining months... Then that was overlooked aswell. I cant go gym all the way in century city as I am now situated in northern suburbs and transferred my package to durbanville virgin active just to be told I am paying a R150 transfer fee and that I will pay 2017 monthly subscription and not as a member that joined last year in 2016. I am so disgusted with virgin active as I joined them as I thought they were the best but was in reality not. So now I am stuck with a contract which I paid more than I was told, no free subscription, no cancellation option, transfer fee just to move to another gym and having to pay the 2017 new member subscription even though I joined in 2016. But clearly Virgin active don't care as you are just another person which they benefit from. Aslong as the consultant fet their commission and the company their money they don't see a problem</p>
