Why is Virgin Active getting rid of their super circuits

Could someone at VA-SA plse advise me. I have been a member of VA for close on twenty years, and it seems they are getting rid of their super circuits. WHY? I used to frequent VA Edenglen until the super circuit disappeared and then switched to VA Greenstone Park (Stoneridge), and the same has happened. Making way for new cutting edge technology as they call it, which is really only an exercise mat at Edenglen and some rowing & sit up apparatus at Greenstone Park. I have been advised not to use rowing machines as i have back issues. My options then are only to find an alternative Gym.. Does VA have a medical reason for this, as I can find none. Please don,t tell me a survey was done and this is what people want, as most members I have spoken to are just as annoyed as me.
