Why are all gyms ****s?

Some committee at virgin must have take the decision to actively abuse their customers. I can't see any other reason for the level of service they give.

The gym I go to has exactly one fully functional treadmill. Staff there tried to tell me that "everything's fine". Headoffice refuses to get involved. Now they're all ignoring my emails.

And just to confirm that they're truly a customer-hating corporation, there isn't a contact email on any of their websites, from their UK headoffice to their local branch.
