Virgin ****mers

To those thinking of joining Virgin active...rethink your decision

I joined in September 2025 on premium subscription,I was quite happy to pay the installment agreed up with inclusive of the joining fee discount My installment came to R942

By the end of January I saw a debit order of R1336,a 42% increase on the installment and only being 4 months in my contract...LIKE ARE YOU CRAZY!!!

I call the call centre to dispute the installment,all I get told by the consultants that everybody has the same increase...so what makes Virgin active so special to want to charge their member exorbitant amounts..is it because of free smoothies that they give to their clients.

For those that want to join,I'm just giving you a friendly warning about Virgin active,they are big time ****mers and their equipment is not even state of the art to want to increase your installment to R394 more

I seriously hope this message goes very far and wide so people will be informed before taking a contract with Virgin active

Honestly this is disappointing to say the least as I wanted to have a strong relationship with the club...but once my contract is over I will cancel it and take my business elsewhere
