Virgin changes things without notifying customers
Virgin has stopped accepting credit card for debit orders. I had a new card issued due to attempted ***** and now virgin want me to provide a bank acc rather than accept my amending card details. Each month I have to call in to provide same and today they checked all my details to prove who I am and then disappeared when I insisted on just speaking to someone who would bill my card. The lady asked me to hold and disappeared.

I called again and was forced to voice mail with the claim that all the lines are busy. I immediately called from a different line and suddenly an operator took the call.

Seems virgin will not even now accept a c/c over the phone. Why did the first lady not explain that in response to my opening line on the very first call?

The second lady then explained that they are not allowed to do that but I can deposit into their bank account. Doesn't work if you only have a c/c - someone at virgin is not doing any forward planning.

On the note of not keeping their clients informed, they change off peak access policy to include Fri, not just Sat / Sun, but nobody tells you. I am sure this is a sale pitch given to prospective clients.
