Virgin Active Westville Locker Theft

Hello , My boyfriend recently became a member of Virgin Active Westville. On Monday afternoon he was ****** of his belongings at the locker room, The padlock was broken, He was ****** of his sneakers, cell phone, wallet which had his I.D, license, cash, bank card, medical aid card etc, In search of his belongings he went to the reception area for assistance which they failed to help, They did assist by lending him the phone to call a family member and the bank to block the card however it was too late , R1800 was used online, When i asked the manager about camera footage she advised its invasion of privacy which is understandable but where is the cameras to show who enters the gym/bathrooms and leave ? This also means if someone is killed in the bathroom there's no proof ? The gym fees are so high shouldn't they take the initiative to create better safety measures for members or hire a security guard for the bathrooms ? This is not the first incident at Virgin Active gyms, Initially when he was interested in signing up for the gym consultants would call a few times to encourage him to sign up for the gym, it's been 3 days and no one has called from the gym to check up on the member, this shows they only interested in money and don't care for their members. This gym is so big they should be insured to compensate members for their loss, If the lockers are not safe why do you guys still have the lockers there ? and why encourage new members to make use of the lockers ? knowing they will be ******, To the member that is a *****, You may think you won a reward but this won't make you rich and God will deal with you, You are an inconsiderate individual and you don't understand the inconvenience you have put him through to apply for new cards. Virgin active you should also take responsibility !!
