Virgin Active - Unhelpful and is just out to make money

In February a Virgin Active sales consultant came to me and pushed that i sign uo being in the sales environment i know what it feels having meet targets so i was more than happy to help... The sales consultant told me I could cancel out my contract at anytime and he will email my contract that i signed

I few weeks i go the gym to cancel my contract and i then get told i was signed for a two contract with people of a different area... and that I would need to pay a cancellation fee over R5000 (Staff in Virgin Active Ballito was very helpful) After calling the head office and getting pushed around and transfered from person to the other i was finally told that the manager will give me at call at a certain time ... and three days i still did not receive a call... They constantly debt my account and the call center will constantly call you regarding failure in payment you got to explain to 10 different people the very same thing yet no one helps It’s amazing how fast they are to call you regarding a payment not being made but help solve a problem they never call you back

After doing some homework around this matter i had than come to know this has happened to many people

It’s rather disgusting to know that their staff would lie and do anything just to sign someone up
