Virgin active too stupid to understand "cancel my contract"

These idiots were given written notice to cancel my gym contract back in June which means that they were given 3 times the required 20 day notice period. today they take subscription off my account after numerous emails warning them that the contract must be cancelled. They did answer my emails asking for the reason for cancellation and if they should go ahead with the cancellation, but obviously they are way too dumb to comprehend when you say "please cancel my contract". They also send emails saying please contact this number if you need assistance but the number does not work. they are soooo pathetic.
